Rotors replacement. Any suggestions.

Hi There,

Wondering if anyone has installed aftermarket rotors? Not looking to spend 3k+ on a new braking kit but rather just start with rotors. Lots of cross drilled sloted on Ebay and amazon? Not sure what brands they were or if any good. Was thinking about putting Brembo slotted or maybe Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors with some Hawke brakes pads. Retail for about $250 a pair in the US.

If anyone has any other suggestions let me know or experience with these rotors. I know people have put Stillen or Powerslot rotors in the past but quite pricy at 200-250 each rotor.

a nice fresh pair of blanks will do you good. you won't notice a difference with drilled/slotted on the road unless you track your car hardcore - they are just for looks on the street.

and speaking of rotors, avoid drilled ones. unless you get the high end drilled ones they will crack overtime.

avoid ebay rotors.

good choice on brembo slotted+hawk pads. you will like them.
carbotech and stoptech also make some nice high quality rotors for us.
